The ancient Russian art is pretty much the same as other European countries. They all related to religion and symbol from the old time. The good thing for Russian is they have many museums to collect the icon artworks of their country.

Most of the icon artworks was collected on modern Karelia. But this icon were moved before the Great Patriotic War, The transformation also mixing the art culture. These kind of changing makes art more fancy also make up some special style groups.

There is a non in the article is interested me which is Northern Paintings. This style of art style was made up by many local icon painting in these specially period. In the same time all the artists came from Karelian, Segozerize and Zaonezhie as well as Olonets proence to filling up the art style they have missed.

Totally the article tell us that art style is mixing by every different local art style as a general art style.

The Vitruvius Man, Leonardo da Vinci, 1490

This is the most classic drawing Leonardo da Vinci made. He is a talented genius and his subject aims at a big range for all the area. And he is famous as a painter and drawer.

The drawing shows a man make a movement as parting his legs and hands in a  circle and square. It is the most classic proportions of man. And as we know that the human proportion drawing is created by Leonardo da Vinci.

Also this drawing is the product during the Renaissance. And it is absolutely the artwork blends of science and art which is the classic drawing he ever made before.

This drawing also related my drawing because most of mine are portraits or fast human sketching. The Vitruvius Man is the foundation of all these art area.

By the way, this drawing is like a boom when it comes out. Because the drawing and painting are no long showing religion stuff. At last science started involving art.

                                                 Van Gogh's influence on Modern Art

Although Van Gogh’s art career only ten years his influence was more than anyone else. He started to build a new relationship between object and painting. Like the article said “In the early 20th century, the expressionists advanced Van Gogh's goal of conveying emotion by producing works that distorted both the colour and shape of optical reality.”

There is a new style of art in the world – The Fauves. His artworks do pay attenuation to the shape and changing of the colour. All the colours he used show very strong visual attack to his audiences. But he is lonely that like all the great artists. He cut his ear off to showing the world how lonely he is.

His artworks are burly known by people when he was alive. People started accept his artworks with the art culture were improved step by step after he dead.

That is Vincent Van Gogh—The lonely genius.

The High Renaissance in Italy is generally been told as from around 1500. But overview The Renaissance that developed a lot from the old Greek artist.  During this period we found many talented artists. The third members of the trilogy of artists who represent the highest painting, sculpture artist are Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael.

Many people think that 1500 is the end of the world but actually it does not happen. It makes many great artworks to showing people how sad they feel the world is going to end.

Also these artists started to describing their feeling instead of doing painting and drawing to the Royal families. As the article said “ They were also aware of the debt they owed to those pioneering artists that had gone before, standing on the shoulders of previous generations of great artist’s and building on that accumulated knowledge became the ambition.”

Because they know that only idea comes from the freedom soul. And that is why they can make lots of extraordinary artworks.
