Vitruvius Man, Leonardo da Vinci, 1490
This
is the most classic drawing Leonardo da Vinci made. He is a talented genius and
his subject aims at a big range for all the area. And he is famous as a
painter and drawer.
The drawing shows a man make a movement as parting his legs and hands in a circle and square. It is the most classic proportions of man. And as we know that the human proportion drawing is created by Leonardo da Vinci.
Also this drawing is the product during the Renaissance. And it is absolutely the artwork blends of science and art which is the classic drawing he ever made before.
This drawing also related my drawing because most of mine are portraits or fast human sketching. The Vitruvius Man is the foundation of all these art area.
By the way, this drawing is like a boom when it comes out. Because the drawing and painting are no long showing religion stuff. At last science started involving art.
